With 4 boys in our home, there is a constant squabble about who gets to play which video game, which is why we are particularly fond of multi-player games. We own several Nintendo Switch games that allow people to play together or against each other.
Here are a few of our favorite multi-player games for the Nintendo Switch:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Gaming icons clash in the ultimate brawl you can play anytime, anywhere! Smash rivals off the stage as new characters Simon Belmont and King K. Rool join Inkling, Ridley, and every fighter in Super Smash Bros. history. Enjoy enhanced speed and combat at new stages based on the Castlevania series, Super Mario Odyssey, and more!
Having trouble choosing a stage? Then select the Stage Morph option to transform one stage into another while battling—a series first! Plus, new echo fighters Dark Samus, Richter Belmont, and Chrom join the battle. Whether you play locally or online, savor the faster combat, new attacks, and new defensive options, like a perfect shield. Jam out to 900 different music compositions and go 1-on-1 with a friend, hold a 4-player free-for-all, kick it up to 8-player battles and more! Feel free to bust out your GameCube controllers—legendary couch competitions await—or play together anytime, anywhere!
Super Mario Party
The original 4-player Mario Party series board game mode that fans love is back, and your friends and family are invited to the party! Freely walk the board: choose where to move, which Dice Block to roll, and how to win the most Stars in skill-based minigames. Wait till you see the 2 vs 2 mode with grid-based maps, the creative uses of the console, and the series’ first online minigame mode!
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Hit the road with the definitive version of Mario Kart 8 and play anytime, any-where! Race your friends or battle them in a revised battle mode on new and returning battle courses. Play locally in up to 4-player multiplayer in 1080p while playing in TV Mode. Every track from the Wii U version, including DLC, makes a glorious return. Plus, the Inklings appear as all-new guest characters, along with returning favorites, such as King Boo, Dry Bones, and Bowser Jr.!
Super Mario U Deluxe
Join Mario, Luigi, and pals for single-player or multiplayer fun anytime, anywhere! Take on two family-friendly, side-scrolling adventures with up to three friends* as you try to save the Mushroom Kingdom. Includes the New Super Mario Bros. U and harder, faster New Super Luigi U games—both of which include Nabbit and Toadette as playable characters!
Two games in one, for double the fun! Simple, straightforward controls, new playable characters optimized for younger and less-experienced players, and a wealth of bonus content—like a Hints gallery and helpful reference videos**—make this a perfect choice for anyone looking to introduce their family to the wonderful world of Mario. All a player needs is one Joy-Con controller, so two people can team up right out of the box! Tackle 164 platforming courses in the two main game modes and enjoy extra replayability with three additional game modes in which you can also play as a Mii character: Challenges, Boost Rush, and Coin Battle! Up to 4Players.
Super Mario Odyssey
Explore incredible places far from the Mushroom Kingdom as you join Mario and his ally Cappy on a massive, globe-trotting 3D adventure. Use amazing abilities like the power to capture and control objects, animals, and enemies to collect Power Moons so you can power up the Odyssey airship and save Princess Peach from Bowser’s wedding plans.
Thanks to heroic, hat-shaped Cappy, Mario’s got moves that’ll make you rethink his traditional run-and-jump gameplay like cap jump, cap throw, and capture. Use captured cohorts such as enemies, objects, and animals to progress through the game and uncover loads of hidden collectibles. And if you feel like playing with a friend, just pass them a Joy-Con controller! Player 1 controls Mario while Player 2 controls Cappy. This sandbox-style 3D Mario adventure the first since 1996’s beloved Super Mario 64 and 2002’s Nintendo GameCube classic Super Mario Sunshine is packed with secrets and surprises, plus exciting kingdoms to explore.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Captain Toad stars in his own puzzling quest on the Nintendo Switch system! Our stubby hero must dodge dangers and track treasures across many trap-filled courses. Survive smoldering volcanoes, hazardous steam engines, haunted houses, and even new courses based on the Super Mario Odyssey game! Luckily, a second player can join in by tossing turnips at enemies.
Play anytime, anywhere, and anyway you want—even in two-player mode using a pair of Joy-Con controllers on one Nintendo Switch system—in TV mode or Tabletop mode. You could also play alone in handheld mode! No matter what, explore each puzzling course for treasure, like hidden Super Gems and Power Stars. As you reclaim the treasure stolen by the monstrous, greedy bird, Wingo, you’ll eventually be able to play as Toadette! These tiny heroes must waddle, hide, pluck, chuck, and power-up through enemy-infested locales like towers, wild-west shanties, and Goomba waterparks—all bursting with secrets. Aim your head-mounted flashlight at adventure!
There are of course many other multi-player games for the Nintendo Switch, including online co-op play.
Layover Rome 7:30a-4:50p Can you really see Vatican zero tour, Trevi Fountain and Colossus
& get meal? Tips? Great food? Transport? No. You could see
the Trevi Foundation, the Spanish Methods, the Colosseum and have meals, but that’s it.
Get a airport shuttle train to and from the main railway station, and
utilize the Metro to get around. The Spanish Guidelines and Trevi Fountain are a short walk from one another, the Colosseum is approximately 20
minutes apart on foot and you might browse the Roman Forum which is
very near it, it’s a recreation area with many ancient ruins in it, you
can get mixed tickets for the Roman Forum and the Colosseum (and admire other
things on the way) and miss the queue in to the Colosseum
that way. Getting into the Vatican proper can mean joining lengthy queues –
when I was there it took me 20 minutes to walk from the finish of the queue to the top of it, so that it was in regards to a mile lengthy.
You’d need to pre-book and become there at your time slot on the
dot. However, you can go directly to the front of St Peter’s Basilica,
but personally I came across the Vatican to become chilly
and creepy when compared to many historic Roman ruins.
