For the past few weeks we’ve been playing with the new LeapPad Platinum from LeapFrog. The boys love the newly designed LeapPad. Check out Jude’s video review of the LeapPad Platinum and the Imagicards.
My 7 year old, Jude gives a tour of the new LeapPad Platinum features:
The new tablet featurs a 7” multi-touch screen with sharp, crisp graphics, a fast and powerful processor and a sleek design.
Some of our favorite features are:
- WiFi with Kid Safe Web
- Lithium-ion battery
- Front and Back Camera
- 10 included apps
- automatically adjusts skill level
- multi-user profiles
- parental settings
I love that my 7 year old can play games that are highly educational and are challenging to him. Then my 4 year old can play games that are tailored to his abilities. There are so many options for children of different ages and learning styles, it’s such a fun and versatile product.
My boys also love the imagicards which are included with the LeapPad Platinum. I think the Ninja Turtles game is a favorite in our house.
My 4 year old, Noah share his favorite Imagicard came, Ninja Turtles:
All the boys love spending time playing the new LeapPad Platinum and I love that so much of the content and games guide them into a love of learning. Learning doesn’t have to be stale and boring, learning can be vibrant and fun.
We also received thew LeapFrog, Word Whammer. If you’ve ever watched any of the LeapFrog shows you will recognize the Word Whammer. This is such a simple and fun hand held game which helps children to recognize letter and begin to put together simple words.
Noah loves playing with the Word Whammer and it is the perfect toy for my Pre-K child. Jude, who is already good a reading and writing also thinks it’s a fun game even though it’s probably a little too simple for him.
We have loved LeapFrog learning toys for years and will continue to love their products for years to come.
The LeapPad Platinum is available at Amazon.com, Toys R’ Us, Walmart, Target and additional retailers.
