Maternity Fashion: Mom’s The Word

Maternity Fashion is probably my favorite type of fashion. You really get to emphasize your growing belly and it’s just fun. After 3 pregnancies some of my maternity clothes are long past being “in style” and are actually wearing out so I’m indulging in a few new fashionable maternity pieces this time around. I just discovered Mom’s The Word which offers stylish maternity and nursing apparel.

They recently sent me two adorable tops from their MOM Exclusive brand. The Wellfleet Short Sleeve Nursing Top is versatile and grow with you from early pregnancy to nursing. What I love about this shirt is the stripe patter which nicely conceals the nursing panel.

I really love the navy stripes because they can be mixed with a ton of colors. (At first I thought it was black because the navy is so dark.) I think this top looks adorable with skinny maternity jeans and some bright accent colors.

They also sent me the Drape Tunic in Latte. This shirt is very flowing and comfortable. This top can be dressed up with some black and gold accents or dressed down with shorts and some comfy sandals.

It was crazy hot this morning and I look a little disheveled but so goes the life of a mom with 3 boys.
Mom's The Word Drape Tunic in LatteMom’s The Word offers a great selection of chic clothing for moms-to-be. Store owner, Sarah Pollak recently launched a brick and mortar location in Los Angeles as well as an online boutique.
“Pregnancy doesn’t have to be the death of fashion,” says Pollak. “My favorite thing to hear is when people say ‘I look better than I did before I was pregnant.’”
I have to agree, I find I’m much more fashionable when I’m pregnant!
