PDQ Raleigh Review

Sunday night we went to a special blogger dinner at our local PDQ. What is PDQ? People Dedicated to Quality (PDQ) is a fast casual restaurant which specializes in hand-breaded chicken tenders, fresh salads, fresh-cut fries and hand-spun milkshakes.

I remembered seeing them build PDQ a few years ago but we’d only been once when we had family in town about a year ago.

We took a fresh tour of the kitchen and learned about PDQ’s dedication to using the best ingredients. I learned that all of PDQ’s dressings and sauces are made fresh, on-site everyday. They also take great care when preparing and cooking their fresh-cut fries. I really love that PDQ values genuine customer service so their employees are there to greet you and guide you through your order even at the drive-thru. (You place your order with an actual human being instead of at a speaker box.)

We also got to try a vast selection of their menu. Joe tried their Chicken Tenders while I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, both were serve with their fresh-cut fries. The boys hand the chicken tender kid’s meal which was a great size for kids. Jude loved the fresh squeezed lemonade. And we all enjoyed the hand-spun milkshakes. I never would have thought to order the apples with toffee dip but it was amazing. Everything we tried was delicious and fresh. We will definitely be going back.
