Friday night is family movie night at our house. It also happens to be pizza night. Sometimes we make homemade pizza, sometimes it’s frozen and sometimes we get delivery. Joe prefers Domino’s for delivery pizza and up until recently we pretty much just stuck to plain ole pizza. That is until we discovered Domino’s Pizza‘s new Specialty Chicken.Domino’s Pizza Specialty Chicken is a delicious combination of toppings, sauces and cheeses layered over twelve bites of lightly breaded, 100 percent whole breast white meat chicken.
They offer four flavor combinations:
- Crispy Bacon & Tomato
- Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple
- Classic Hot Buffalo
- Sweet BBQ Bacon
We tried the Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple and Sweet BBQ Bacon Specialty Chicken. Joe loves pineapple and likes spicy so the Spicy Jalapeno-Pineapple was right up his alley. It packed a powerful little punch and was a little more than I could handle (I’m a big wuss) but I did enjoy the flavor combination. I preferred the Sweet BBQ Bacon, it has a nice mix of sweet and salty.
We also ordered a pepperoni and roasted red pepper pizza which the boys really loved.
The Specialty Chicken is available as part of Domino’s $5.99 mix and match deal. This makes it very affordable to try all of the flavor combinations.
Pizza night really got kicked up a notch last Friday. I’m not sure how this week’s movie and pizza night will be able to compete. I guess we’ll call it in to Domino’s again.
