Fair Trade Coffee – Green Mountain

·

Green Mountain Coffee is the world’s largest purchaser of Fair Trade Certified™ coffee. Fair Trade certification gives farmers a fair price for their beans with a guaranteed minimum, which means they can invest in their crops, their communities, and their future. Fair Trade also lets Green Mountain Coffee® and farmers work closely together to bring the best tasting coffee to market.

GoodVibes_LogoWhat I love about Green Mountain is that they are focused on more than just selling you coffee, they are working to protect the environment, empower farmers and support communities. They are working to create better coffee and a better world. I don’t drink coffee but Joe drinks it every day, religiously. Over the years he’s become very aware of how coffee is farmed, roasted and brewed. He is very particular about his coffee and one thing that is important is if the product is Fair Trade. So many products, like coffee beans, which are imported from other countries are not fair trade and it’s important that all people receive a fair wage for their hard work.

Green Mountain coffee is one of the better coffees available in most grocery stores.  It’s fair-trade certified so the farmers get a fair price for the beans, and they have several organic varieties.  Green Mountain coffee is one of the better tasting Keurig options as well.
