The iPhone 5 was just announced but the Liebs are still sporting the iPhone 3G.
We upgraded to smart phones about a year ago and it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made. Not only do we use the smart technology all the time but so do the kids. Jude has mastered the iPhone and has many apps that he loves. We generally limit his use of the iPhone but when he does get to play these are the top 5 games he will generally play.
Jude’s Top 5 iPhone Apps (Great Apps for 4 Year Old Boys):
Where’s My Water
Where’s My Water is a fun game for everyone, even adults. My dad actually introduced Jude to Where’s My Water. Where’s My Water is a Physics based puzzle game featuring Swampy the Alligator. In the game, players guide water through layers of earth into Swampy’s tub.
Lego 4+ is for kids ages 4-7. Build your own virtual Lego truck, haul cargo to it’s destination and collect coins to earn more parts. This game is a fun way to play with Legos without all the tiny parts spread across your house.
Tozzle is a great app for preschool children. There are 39 puzzles to choose from that help teach shapes and spatial recognition. Tozzle has been a huge life saver for us on road trips. You can even select different languages like English, Spanish, French or German.
Jigsaw Mansion 2
Jigsaw Mansion lets you explore the halls of your stately mansion where the artwork comes to life and you put together the images just like a real jigsaw puzzle. Jude loves that you can use your own photos to create virtual jigsaw puzzles.
Toca Kitchen Monster
Toca Kitchen Monster is one of many Toca Boca apps available. Toca Kitchen Monsters lets you play with your food and feed it to monsters. You can slice, blend, fry, microwave and blend your food.
