Preparing the Nursery for Baby 2

·
It’s been a little over a month since we moved into our new home and while we still have plenty of unpacking to finish we are actually pretty close to completing the baby’s nursery! (pictures coming soon I promise!)
A great place to start when decorating the nursery is to pick out the crib bedding. Since we know the sex of the baby this time I thought it would be easy to pick out baby boy bedding but i actually find myself more attracted to gender neutral baby bedding.
I love the fun whimsical owl print of the Treetop Friends Crib set. Owls are always cute for a nursery!
However, I also love the simplicity and elegance of the Bacati Quilted Circles in White crib set. Very classic and timeless.
So far we’ve ended up selecting light green to be our primary color for the room with accents of brown and light blue. Most of our color choices just kind of fell into place based on the various free pieces we we’ve collected. Now that we have most of the main elements in place it’s all about accessorizing and decorating the space. I want to incorporate some fun yet timeless artwork that can grow with baby 2. I’m thinking woodland animals, maybe owls, foxes, squirrels and such but I just haven’t found the perfect piece of art to inspire me.
