Eschelon Hospitality Giveaway (Mura, Sono, The Oxford)

One of things I love about Raleigh is the great selection of restaurants to choose from. My in-laws live in a small South Carolina town and they love to visit us because there are so many fabulous places to eat. (Oh yeah there is also their grandson.) I particularly love good sushi so I’m thrilled to introduce to you two of Eschelon Hospitality‘s sushi restaurants Mura and Sono. Ironically, I’ve yet to dine at these fine establishments but all of my friends rave about them.

Mura is a Japanese Fusion restaurant serving world renowned Kobe beef, a variety of steaks, seafood, mixed cuisine and the finest grade sushi. Their sushi menu features many one-of-a-kind rolls, which are prepared artistically and presented in a visually appealing manner. Mura merges sushi and steak under the same roof. Not only do they provide a fusion of foods, but they also blend eastern and western cultures in order to create a metropolitan atmosphere.



Sono is a Japanese restaurant with a vibrant interior, tasty sushi, and impeccable service. Located in the Hudson condo building on Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh.


Eschelon’s newest endeavor is Raleigh’s only Gastropub, The Oxford. I have sampled some of The Oxford’s shepherds pie and it was fabulous, everything you’d expect plus more.



The Oxford Gastropub specializes in high-quality food that is a step above the more basic “pub grub.” Gastropubs have an atmosphere which is relaxed and a focus on offering a particular cuisine from their kitchens in order to create a strong, high quality food environment. Come visit Raleigh’s newest gastropub where you can MEET.EAT.DRINK.
