It pays to give a compliment.

Everyone has their favorite brands at the grocery store.  I know I do. I love Earth Grain Breads, Florida’s Natural OJ, Breyer’s Ice Cream, Seventh Generation and tend to prefer these brands to others.

Well, did you know that if you write an email thanking these manufacturers for making a quality product you enjoy they will often send you coupons.

When I first started couponing I sent an email to the people at Florida’s Natural and they mailed me approximately 6 $1 off coupons!

Then just today I was thinking about how much we love Pirate’s Booty at our house so I sent them a little email. They wrote back and thanked me for the kind words and are mailing me a FREE coupon for their New Pizza flavor.  (I’ll be writing a review on my blog about this crazy new flavor!)

Throughout the week I plan on writing a few more companies to thank them for their awesomeness.
You should write some of your favorite manufactures and let me know what happens.
