Evenflo Platinum Symphony DLX Car Seat Review

The new Evenflo Platinum Symphony DLX All-in-One Car Seat is part of a the Platinum Protection Series of car seats.

We’ve been using the new Evenflo Platinum Symphony DLX car seat for a few weeks now and we really love it. Simon seems to be very comfortable and is rarely fussy during our car rides. I attribute this to the Outlast Performance Fabric which helps keep him cool during these warm spring days.

Outlast Performance Fabric

Evenflo Platinum Symphony

The NASA-developed Outlast® technology is a temperature regulating fabric that keeps babies and toddlers comfortable during hot and cold weather.
The fabric helps to ensure a safer, more peaceful ride for both mom and child and help prevent an accident from ever happening.

Buckle Pockets

evenflo-buckle-storageI can’t tell you how many times I wish our previous car seats had this feature. No more digging around under a fussy child to find the straps and no hot metal pieces touching baby’s legs. I think this simple feature is probably my favorite.

SureLATCH Technology

evenflo-surelatchWhile I like the Latch system I’ve often struggled to get them unlatched or tightened properly. The SureLATCH Technology allows you to easily install and properly tighten the straps with the auto tighten feature. And remove the car seat is a breeze with the easy to use unlock button.

Cup Holder

evenflo-cup-holderThere are 2 built-in cup holders which fit within the frame of the car seat which make it easy for little ones to use and doesn’t take up more space within the car.

All-In-One Car Seat

The Evenflo Platinum Symphony DLX is an All-in-One car seat which means it grows with your child. From 5lbs to 110lbs there is no need to buy another car seat. Rear-facing or Forward-facing this is the only car seat you should ever need. We are extended rear-facing people which means Simon (age 1.5) is still rear-facing and will continue to be until he’s at least 2 years old and 30lbs. The DLX allows for up to 40lbs rear-facing.

That sounds like a fantastic car seat! Definitely one I would consider if my boys were still that little.

Looks like a very safe and comfortable car seat! I love the hot/cold release fabric that keeps your child from sweating! Will have to look into this seat when my granddaughter transitions to a new one!

Sounds like a safe and reliable car seat. Love that the fabric absorbs and stores hot and cold temperatures and then releases them when needed, and it helps reduce perspiration so your child stays drier. I wonder how it would work with my son, who tends to overheat in carseats since he can’t sweat properly.

I love that this is a all in one car seat. When we went through car seats we ended up having to buy two for each child. Car seat then booster. This is awesome!
