This year will be my 7th wedding anniversary. The first song Joe and I danced to at our wedding was David Gray’s Slow MotionTo us it symbolized a moment in life that seems to just defy time. What we love about Gray’s music is the way he combines a melodious sound with epic lyrics that sing together harmoniously.

David Gray

David Gray‘s first new album in almost 4 years, Mutineers will debut on June 17th. Mutineers is refreshing welcome back for Gray. From the the notes of the first track ‘Back In The World’ you are taken on liberating journey all they way to the end of the album. Gray’s lyrics have always been handsomely poetic but it’s evident that he’s put an emphasis on developing the music around the lyrics which results in a beautifully blended sound.

“I know I’ve done something here that has an authority that is inspiring me and I don’t have to worry about my past or any of that. The lovely thing about this is we’ve had the time to experiment, and it’s been wonderful,” says Gray.
